Watch Dogs – open world action game now for free

Ubisoft is expanding its Happy Playdays with another game. The hacker adventure Watch Dogs is currently available for free at Uplay.

Ubisoft is still in a fundraising mood. After World in Conflict and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag you can now put Watch Dogs into the Uplay shopping cart at no cost. The free promotion is part of »Happy Playdays« and gives away three older titles from Ubisoft’s games library. To participate, only one active Uplay account is required.

Incidentally, the “Happy Playdays” were also extended. This means that you still get until December 23, 2017, all three games for free. On Christmas Eve Ubisoft then asks again the normal price.

Watch Dogs appeared in 2014 and tells the story of Aiden Pearce, who starts a campaign of revenge after a failed attempt to assassinate. Using his cellphone, Aiden can hack and manipulate Chicago’s ctOS, an operating system that controls the entire city.
